About the Rotary Club Of Lake Bunyonyi.

We focus on education, environmental conservation, and community health—supporting island schools like Kyabahinga and Bufuka, organizing clean-up campaigns, and planting trees to protect the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi region and the wider Kigezi community.

Every Tuesday at 6:00 PM EAT, we gather for fellowship at Cephas Inn, where we plan projects, strengthen partnerships, and continue to live the Rotary motto: Service Above Self.

In early April 2025, the Rotary Club of Lake Bunyonyi partnered with Uganda College of Commerce (UCC) Kabale to organize a major town clean-up in Kabale Municipality.

This initiative was part of UCC’s 42nd Anniversary celebrations and aimed to enhance community hygiene and civic pride. Led by UCC Principal Bernard Nuwagira and Rotary Club President Sam Mayanja, the event also saw participation from alumni and local leaders, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and environmental stewardship.
